Questions On German Revolution

1. Using the documents in Chapter 1 as evidence, list the ways in which conditions in Germany worsened during the war.

    The conditions worsend because many people got sick from the plague that was spreading thorught Eruope. Also anti war speaches gained popularity. Finaly famin hit Germany very hard. making the average caliories per day 1000 half the usual

2. Give two reasons why the war caused such bad conditions for German civilians.

   It shortened food suplies and made it easier for diseases to spread and also borught many forige deseises back to the counrty

3. After reading Chapter 2, give two reasons why Kaiser Wilhelm abdicated on November 10, 1918.

 He refused to change, and also the mutiny cause people to dislike him.

4. Using the information you have read in this chapter, give evidence to support the statement that there was "revolution all over Germany."

 Germany was hungry for reveolution and wanted change they were not getting change from the goverment they had. This lead to people talking and speaking out againt the war and the awful conditions they were living in.

5. Study the information about the German Socialists in Chapter 2, page 5. What did the three Socialist groups have in common?
 They all wanted to imporve work conditions and they all wanted to give democratic rights to all citizens

6. In what ways were the Socialist groups different.
 The methods in which they go about achieving these goals is totally diffrent

8. At what time would you say the Communists had their best chance of seizing power? Explain your answer.
 the best time the party had to take power was when the reveolution was taking place and the goverment was in turmoil.
