Using the information and the primary sources describe: (Pgs. 245-247)
a. The chief aims of Nazi propaganda
The aim of the Nazi propaganda was to make people believe that Germany was the best race. They focused of different aspects of propaganda during different times. While Hitler was still taking power the Nazis focused on more political and bright futures of getting Germany out of debt and all the war agreements. They would convince people of whatever they wanted including their antisemitic views.
b. The means used to achieve those aims
The Nazis were masters of propaganda. They used every way possible to get their message out; newspaper, television, rallies, architecture etc. They also changed the way they got their message out and tended to manly use radio and press. these were the main ways in which they were able to get their persuasive message out
c. Explain how the Nazis used the press, radio, and film as forms of propaganda. (Pgs. 247-253)
Press radio and films were heavily used and monitored by the Nazis. They were not able to say anything bad about Germany and could be censored to make Germany seem like it its the best. They all praised the Germany people and made a idealist portrayal of Germany. Every day the Nazis would hold a press conference for journalist and tell them what to right. Also radios were put up through the communities and people would be forced to listen to Hitlers speeches. Work would always stop and they would have to go and listen to the speech.
d. Explain Goebbels' contribution to the creation and development of the Third Reich
Goebbels was a huge contributed to the third Reich. He was the leader of all the propaganda in the third Reich. He was the reason that so many people flocked to the Nazis ideas and found the parties message to uplifting and joyful. Goebbels gave the Nazis image one of joyful hope. How the public preserved the Nazi party was due to Goebbels. He made sure only the good image of the Nazis got out into the public. This was significant in getting the public to support the Nazis and keeping control once the Nazis took power.

e. Explain how the Nazis used the activities described on pages 254-259 as a form of propaganda.
All of these form of propaganda were used to show that the Nazis were powerful. They were all just a huge boost and ego feast to show that the Nazis were big and more powerful then they actually were. Also the rallies and festivals were for the people to show the power of the regime and to feed them with propaganda such as showing off the armies and fill then with all the thought of how great the Nazis are

f. Explain how the Third Reich used painting, sculpture and architecture for propaganda purposes (Pgs. 260-270).
The Naizs would use art quite commonly. They would always have Germans depicted as a perfect human with sharp clean lines. Abstract sculptures were not allowed. Architecture was also use public work project such as the autobon was used to show what was to come with the Nazis in power. That this great high ways and roads and sculpture of beautiful art was what lied ahead for the German people as long as the Nazis staid in power.
